I went to a visa company in Thailand for a settlement visa. Spoke to the guy he was really nice pleasent chap. He got me interested in using them to apply for my wifes visa. I travelled back to the UK and within 2 days of landing back in the UK his counterpart based in England was on the phone. He seemed nice on the phone so spoke away to him told him I wanted my wife back in the UK.
I never heard from him for a couple of weeks then out the blue a phone call demanding money as he was flying over to Thailand that weekend. He asked for an initial £1000 stating that if i wanted her visa then deposit this money in the account by Friday. His closing statement was if you want the best pay the money.

I went back to Thailand about 3 months later and decided to apply for my wifes visa myself. It is hard work and time consumming but worth it. It took me about 10-15 trips to Bangkok and alot of running around for translations etc. Total cost before the visa fee around 25000 baht at that time about £350. When I had all the paperwork we travelled up to the Embassy on the Tuesday. Handed in our application along with the fee 18500 baht £285. The lady at the Embassy was really freindly and gave us a website to check our visa application. On the Wednesday we received a phonecall I answered and they asked to speak to my wife. They spoke to her for 5 min tops. On the Thursday we checked our applications progress just to see. To our surprise it application had been processed and approved. We picked it up on the Friday. 4 days from applying to being aproved I could not beleive our luck.

That Friday I took great pleasure in returning to the Visa company and telling them I had applied a and recieved my wifes visa in 4 days and for about £350 less than they wanted as an inittial payment. The guy was like what you have applied for it and waiting for the interview. No was my reply I have applied and been aproved and have it back all in 4 days. I took great pleasure in showing him the passport with the visa and telling him that his partner cant be that good as he said it would take upto 16 weeks with interviews etc. My parting shot on leaving his office was If you want the best possible person to apply for a visa he better talk to me not his partner.
