Thai people looking for a UK settlement visa had to wait up 90 days to get a reply on the application while a UK visitor visa was taking 6 weeks.

How long it takes to get a UK Visa November 2009

This situation has changed, with the amount of application made at the British embassy now falling.

It is presently taking 21 days for a reply on a UK settlement visa application and 10 days for a reply on a UK visitor’s visa.
