I am going to apply for a visa for my girlfriend this month, we have sorted (we hope) all the paperwork side banking etc etc. My question is in my sponser letter would it be beneficial to mention that i am a non UK resident and have been for 10 years ? I work on yachts on a rotation and have lived in Thailand for year and 3months with her, i have family in the UK who we will stay with when there but have no ties re ; house ,banking anything at all which would show along with my passport stamps that i have lived in Thailand for a year,so no reason for us to be staying there, Shall i mention that or will that be more of a hinderance than help ?Also with the photo evidence we shall submit do you print them off or present them with a memory stick so they can see the dates etc ?Many thanks

I will email you personally to go over more details with you, however at this time you have zero change of being issued a tourist visa for this Thai lady.

You need to be in a real relationship with her, not an E relationship.

You ask if you should say your are boy friend and girlfriend, at this time I wouldn’t make the visa application, though even if you did the visa officer would not believe you are boyfriend and girlfriend.

hello.
i have thai girlfriend, i met internet about feb-mar 09, i never see her in person ,but see her everyday on webcam,we talk much everyday,including tel calls,emails,msn, i have been thailand 1 time before, she works as nurse in bkk,in er room,she 33 ime 48,i work self employed, not rich but ok, she has good job in thailand, we want her come uk on holiday for about 2 weeks, she wants see if she like uk and indeed me, ime commitedv to work so its easyier for ngam to come uk if poss, we will eventually marry,but first we need ngam visit uk to experience me and uk life,
whats best visa to apply for and should we mention we are boy f and girl f,?. please advise best visa and whats chances, i read that there shouldnt be an issue about tourist visa, how long will it take since appliying, she has been refused american visa before,on grounds she too young and no sponser i thuink, this 2 -3 yr ago. but now we meet she like come to uk for holls,and i like too,
